Rosebud - smocked dolls clothes Patterns
I bought this in conjunction with the Forget-Me_Not dolls patterns. On the whole I found this set of designs somewhat more straightforward to use and understand, but the instructions still need close study before beginning a project. The pinafore pattern is easier to use than the Forget-Me-Not and the dresses work very well. I used the ruffle collar from one pattern on a dress from this set with a good outcome. New to making doll's garments I found that this does not always follow the usual ways of standard dressmaking so careful reading of and close attention to the instructions make life more comfortable. As with the other doll's garment patterns I found it helpful to create a list of stages for whichever garment I was making, but they all turned out fine in the end.
