Pattern
I haven't made this yet but was delighted to have a pattern to make something with smocking for an adult. I have had a read of the instructions which seem pretty good. Looking forward to making it.

Kylie - Meco Modes pattern
I made this blouse a few years back now and still get great comments when I wear it. It was the first piece of serious smocking I'd done and I am pleased with the result. The fit is great. A couple of words of warning. Firstly, the embroidery pattern required a bit of resizing to make it fit which I managed to do OK but I thought I was missing something and absorbed a lot of time head scratching. This may have been addressed in pattern reprints. Secondly, if I made it again, which I probably will do, I would not cut the sleeve bindings on the cross. Like the other reviewer - great to have an adult pattern.

Very good pattern
I am a novice smocker but this pattern looks to be a very good shape for sewing, the pattern pieces are a good size and I'm sure I'll make a nice blouse with this, Ladies patterns are hard to get so will rate the final garment
